Peru is a huge and varied country that offers magnificent and endless opportunities for cyclists. Our trips are focused on Cusco and the mythical Andes mountains and follow the patchwork trails and roads that run through the Andes valleys to the rainforests and jungles of the Amazonas.

A Spiceroads trip is a Cycling journey and we are focused primarily on finding the best trails and roads to explore Peru by bicycle while experiencing the best the country has to offer. A Spiceroads trip is never a pure sightseeing bicycle journey as we always layer on more depth in terms of local encounters and uncovering lesser visited sites. That is the beauty of travelling by bicycle, to go where no tourist bus can follow. However, no visit to Peru is complete without visiting Machu Picchu and we offer a visit to the extraordinary lost Inca city as an optional extra at the end of our trips around Cusco so you can complete your Peru adventure with an unforgettable visit to one of the great wonders of the world.

YOUR HOST IN PERU

We are excited to be working with a long-term friend of Spiceroads who is now our Cycling Host in Peru. Paul Cripps has been living and cycling in Peru since 1990 and has ridden thousands of kilometres in Peru, Bolivia and elsewhere in the Andes as a tour leader, explorer and mountain bike racer. Based in Cusco, Paul takes care of Spiceroads logistics in Peru and will meet and host all our groups arriving in Cusco.
